Kay Kay Menon to play football team manager in Penalty

Kay Kay Menon, who has impressed cine goers with impeccable performances in prominent movies, is set to spring a huge surprise on the audience, especially his fans with his next offering, Penalty.

As interesting as it may sound, Penalty, a sports based film sees the veteran actor playing a football team manager in the movie.

The makers have recently launched the poster and they have already started getting amazing responses from the audience. Interestingly, the actor has always had an inclination towards sports and his passion for the same got him hooked on to the film. As per the source, 'Film featuring Kay Kay menon in a never seen before avatar.'

Kay Kay was extremely excited from the first narration of Penalty, and with football being the baseline of the film, the actor was game for the movie. He believed in the story and the spirit of the team.

From shoot at 5 in the morning to 16 hour shifts, Penalty saw a sea of hard work and patience. Menon also did a special football training to get himself prepared for the film. He did all that it takes to get into the skin of his character with all the energy.

Nilesh Sakhiya presents Penalty, a film by Shubham Singh, produced by Nilesh Sakhiya, Ritu Shrivastva, Aditya Shrivastva, Ravi Singh, Annu K and co-produced by Pooja Sakhiya. Besides Kay Kay Menon, the movie features Shashank Arora, Manjot Singh, Lukram Simle, Shrishti Jain. Music and background score by Siddhant Madhav.

Releasing on 30th March 2018, Penalty revolves around the lives of a football coach Parth and her student Lukram. Lukram belongs from north east India and plays football in a college in Lucknow.

The story conveys the social message against racial discrimination prevailing internally in the states of India. The message is put forward to the audience through this film in a commercial social drama mannerism.
