Businessman and actor Sachiin Joshi has bought and acquired Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher Villa for the amount of Rupees 73 crores. Sachin who currently holds the position of Vice Chairman of JMJ group of companies, also owns many other businesses ranging from fitness centres to real estate to health spas.

In an official statement, Sachiin Joshi's spokesperson has confirmed the same."Since last two days there have been speculations about the ownership of iconic Kingfisher Villa in Goa. We would like to set the record straight Mr. Sachiin Joshi has officially taken the possession of Kingfisher Villa. Although he yet has to take a call on the details about the reconstructing and renaming his newly acquired property. Team Viikings will keep the media updated on the further progress."

Sachiin Joshi also owns Viking Media and Entertainment and has starred in Bollywood films including Aazaan, Mumbai Mirror and Jackpot. Sachiin has also produced Jazbaa and Veerappan.

Viiking Ventures is also the owner of Planet Hollywood and Beatles hotel, XXX energy drink, Kings Beer, Playboy clubs, Playboy Beer Garden, Big Brother foundation (NGO), CCL Telugu warriors team, Paani mineral water.
