Doob No Bed Of Roses to be screened at the Moscow International Film Festival

Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's much talked about film Doob (No Bed of Roses) has been selected for the main competition section of 39th Moscow International Film Festival. The first official press conference of the festival was held on June 1st in the StandArt Hotel in Moscow. Festival's artistic director Kirill Razlogov and other top officials were present.

The first 11 films in competition were declared in the conference. Films from Germany, Russia, Denmark, Korea, China, Japan, Argentina, India, and Bangladesh made it to this list who will be vying for the coveted Golden George award. The International jury will award Best Film, Best Director, Jury Prize, Best Actor, and Best Actress from the competition titles.

Irrfan Khan, Bangladeshi actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha, director Farooki and the producers will join the red carpet and awards night on June 29th. The festival runs from June 22 to June 29.

The film is a joint venture between Jazz Multimedia (Bangladesh) and Eskay movies (India). The cast includes Irrfan Khan, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Parno Mitra and others.
